Rail Line

Climb aboard and enter the world of steam trains puffing calmly through the landscape. In Rail Line you become one of the great railway bosses from the era of the industrial revolution. Your tracks cut straight across the land, and everywhere you build a train trails a plume of steam behind it. The game is wonderfully simple, but there are just enough choices to keep you thinking. You play cards, and every card has three tracks that connect to each other. This creates a network that crosses, splits and comes back together. Before you know it, a whole rail network is growing on the table. With two or three players, Rail Line takes about half an hour. Great for a quick game, and easy enough to join in from around age eight. A fun game together, with trains that keep puffing merrily along.
