Welcome to the Sprawl, a city full of history and without too many rules. Here you lead a guild that wants to control the market for illegal goods. You recruit an army of henchmen, extortionists and spies, and put them to work. Sell your goods, build your name and cause plenty of chaos for your opponents along the way. Whoever builds the best network and manages to move the most wanted items on the black market gets the furthest. Plunderbund mixes the mood of corrupt Prohibition-era Chicago with a fantasy world where the law means very little. There are no phones, no webshops, nothing. Doing business means stealing, casting spells, laundering money and handing out the odd bribe. Through an accessible deck-building system you collect new cards from more than twenty different characters. That way you improve your wares, expand your network or throw a spanner in the works for a rival. You earn reputation by selling your goods to merchants, with supply and demand playing a fun role. At the end you compare how strong your guild stands against the rest. But watch out: everything you build comes at a cost. Without gold in the coffers you have to accept favours, and those will come back to find you later. If you do not pay them off, your reputation will shrink badly. In this city, nothing goes unavenged.
