Pies

In Pies you win tricks, but not for points. Instead, you take the cards that were just played. Combine the right fruits, finish your pie recipes and score big. Do you play a high card to grab your favourite, or go low and snatch up the versatile plums? That small moment of choice makes every round exciting. The fun thing about Pies is that it turns classic trick taking on its head. After each trick you get to pick a card from the played cards, in order. Play it smart and you will bake the tastiest pies and leave your opponents with the crumbs. Special actions and the funny pie tokens (worth 3.14, of course) add just that little bit of extra flavour. Pies is quick to explain and quick to play. It fits in your bag and shines with three to five players. Perfect for an evening of laughing together, puzzling a little and above all enjoying the game.
