Piepmatz Little Songbirds

There is always plenty going on at the bird feeder. Birds flutter in and out, peck up seeds and look for a mate. In Piepmatz Little Songbirds you play bird cards from your hand to collect exactly the right little creatures and seeds. Each turn you choose a card and place it on a branch. Then you see what it gives you: a seed card, a bird for your collection, or one you push to the bird feeder instead. Every bird counts in its own way. Seeds give points, and if you have two birds of the same species together, they form a pair that scores extra. A single bird only counts if you have the most of that kind. So you keep looking ahead while paying close attention to what your fellow players are collecting. The game ends as soon as the pile at the bird feeder runs out and everyone has had the same number of turns. Piepmatz Little Songbirds is a calm but exciting card game for two to four players. At the table everyone's own collection slowly grows, and only at the end does it become clear who puzzled it out best. A lovely game for a pleasant afternoon, in which you try to snatch the finest birds from each other with a smile.
