Pandemic

This is the Dutch-language edition. Fight diseases that threaten the world! In Pandemic, several very dangerous diseases have broken out all over the globe. You are part of an elite team of disease fighters whose mission is to treat the diseases at hotspots and research cures for these frightening illnesses before the situation gets out of hand. Do you have the right motivation and skills to save humanity?

How to play
The game board highlights various world cities with large populations where the diseases are running wild: the hotspots. On each turn a player has four actions available, which can be used to travel between cities, treat infected areas, discover a cure or set up a new research station.

These actions can be carried out using the cards found in one of the decks. Alongside these cards, the decks also contain epidemic cards woven in, which cause the diseases to spread faster. The other deck holds the cards that drive the "normal" spread of the diseases.

Within the elite team of disease fighters, each player has a unique role, so the players must work together to come up with a strategy that makes the most of everyone's special knowledge.

For example, the Operations Expert can build new research stations, and the Scientist needs only four cards of a disease to cure it instead of the five cards the others need.

Play the game cleverly, because the diseases spread quickly and there is very little time! If one of the diseases can no longer be kept in check, or treating the diseases takes too long, all players lose. If the players manage to beat the four diseases, they all win!
