Nusfjord Big Box

Nusfjord is a small fishing village in the fjords of northern Norway. In the past it was full of life, when the cod came to spawn and sailing ships filled the harbour. In this game you take a leap back in time. The rocks are still covered with trees, the boats come and go, and you are at the helm of a large fishing company. As the owner you want to grow the harbour and the surrounding landscape. You expand your fleet, clear forest, put up new buildings and keep the village elders happy. Your opponents are trying to do exactly the same, so the fight for the best spots is exciting. Money is scarce, and one of the quickest ways to get it is to put shares of your own company on the market. If you buy them back yourself, you earn money without any downside. But if someone else grabs them, they share in your catch. The village elders also want a piece of your fish now and then. If you are not careful, your camp will be empty at the end of the day. Nusfjord Big Box bundles the base game with four expansions: Plaice, Salmon, Trout and Besokende. Extra components are included, so you can enjoy a fresh game again and again. A game for anyone who likes planning ahead, puzzling together and watching a village slowly grow.
