August 1950. The North Korean army has overrun nearly the whole peninsula and is pushing on towards Pusan, the last open port in the south. Along the bend of the Naktong river, the American army throws together a defensive line in great haste. Every unit still available, right down to a brigade of marines, is sent into battle against three North Korean divisions that want to strike together. In Naktong Bulge: Breaking the Perimeter you replay this thrilling fight with the new Fire & Movement system. On your turn you can reinforce your units with outside support, from fighter-bombers to artillery. Picture this: a single reconnaissance company is ordered to take a mountain pass, backed by howitzers. But as soon as the attack begins, heavy fire comes your way. You need more support, and support is limited. Every choice counts. This game for one or two players lets you feel the harsh reality of the Korean War. Units take losses, just as they did back then. You win with the right moves, well-timed firepower and sensible use of what you have. In about an hour you share a battle you will not soon forget.
