Picture this: humanity is moving to the moon. Bases where people can live and work are rising everywhere. In Moon you build such a place and try to make it the most beautiful and most impressive one. Whoever builds best gets to call their base the new capital of the moon. Each turn you receive a handful of cards. Think of it as a convoy full of experts and machines travelling past the bases. You always pick one building from it and pass the rest to your neighbour. Every little stack also holds an expedition card, which gives you a free extra action before you pass it on. Wooden moon rovers let you place your workers in the right spot, and watch out: those rovers also decide who wins in case of a tie. The game runs through three eras. Each time you compete for the lead in five areas: housing, transport, science, industry and food. Whoever is ahead at the end of an era earns nice bonus points. Special reputation cards give every game a fresh twist. Moon is for one to four players and is the third part after Villagers and Streets, but you can easily start with it.
