Metrolijn

This is the Dutch-language edition. In Metrolijn you score points by stopping your metro trains at stations as cleverly as possible. Every route on which you manage to tick off all the stations earns you points. But the number of metro trains per route is limited! As soon as you have sent out your last train, the points are counted. This game is not a roll & write, but a flip & write.

Each turn a card is flipped over, showing how many stations you have to stop at. Your score sheet shows the metro network of cities such as Berlin, Madrid or Paris. You pick a metro train on your score sheet and tick off consecutive stations on that metro line one by one. You stop when you have ticked off the maximum number of stations for this turn, or when you reach a station you ticked off earlier. Some cards have special functions.

Cards with transfer stations, for example, let you earn extra bonus points at junctions. The "free travel" card lets you tick off any station you like. With express train cards you can skip over metro stations you ticked off earlier. Metrolijn contains four different score sheets for more variety.

So you can build metro lines in Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Amsterdam. Metrolijn is both a fun, fast game for up to six people and a challenging puzzle for solo players.
