Around 3050 BC, just south of the Nile delta, a city arose that would grow into the beating heart of ancient Egypt. Men-Nefer, also known as Memphis, became the capital and at one point even the busiest place on earth. In this game you step back into that time and experience one of the finest periods of this ancient world. You get to work with everything that belonged to Egyptian life. You gather knowledge in the houses of life, sail and trade along the Nile, make offerings to the gods and even help build the great pyramids. You also embalm the bodies of nobles, so they can journey on to a better life. And pay close attention to how you move through this earthly existence, because only then will Osiris open the gate to Aaru, the long-awaited paradise. Men-Nefer plays out over three eras. Each turn you choose which part of Egyptian life you want to develop further, with a fresh mix of worker placement and tile selection. Whoever gathers the most prestige in each era comes out as the winner. A game for enthusiasts who like to dive deep together.
