Lunar

Lunar is a smooth card game in which you win tricks, but with a twist. You play the colours and the values separately from each other. That turns every turn into a little riddle: what do you put down, and when? You play in teams of two or one against one, and each time you look for the best combination to surprise your opponent. The cards revolve around moon phases and animals of the night. With the right combinations and a changing trump colour, you build up your lead. Cards with a star give bonus points, so it pays to watch closely and strike at the right moment. Do you know Spades or Hearts? Then Lunar will feel familiar right away, yet fresh and new. It is a lovely challenge especially for pairs who are well attuned to each other. Making a plan together, sensing what your partner is up to and playing that winning card at the right moment: that is what it is all about.
