Lorenzo il Magnifico

Step back in time to Renaissance Italy. In Lorenzo il Magnifico you are the head of a noble family striving for prestige and fame. You send your family members out into the city, to places where they collect resources, have buildings constructed, bind influential people to you or start new ventures. Whoever gathers the most prestige wins. Each round you roll three dice. They determine how much your family members are worth. And that is what makes it exciting: where do you place your strongest family member, and where do you dare to gamble with a weaker one? You always have to choose, because the best spots are not always free and time keeps ticking. Meanwhile, you had better keep an eye on your bond with the Church. The game runs over three periods of two rounds each. At the end of every period you must show your faith. Anyone who has prayed too little gets a hefty penalty. After six rounds you add everything up and see who may call themselves the true Lorenzo.
