Picture this: it is 1985 and the first days of a third world war are beginning. In Lock 'n Load Tactical: Heroes Against the Red Star you push your armies through West Germany towards Paris. You are in charge of tanks, helicopters and infantry, and every decision you make shapes how the battle unfolds. This is a complete game on its own, built on the well-known Lock 'n Load Tactical system. You command an impressive collection of weapons from that era. Soviet tanks such as the T-80, T-72, T-64 and T-55 appear, together with Hind helicopters, paratroopers and heavily armed infantry. On the other side stand French conscripts, the Foreign Legion and tanks like the AMX30 B-2. You call in air strikes, scout enemy positions with armoured cars and use guided anti-tank missiles that run out quickly. Every choice counts. The scenarios take you from the first careful scouting missions to the desperate fight for the Eisenbach bridge. You fight in the streets, between the buildings and on top of the tanks. This is a game for two players who enjoy a long, gripping evening. Expect around four hours in which you both get completely caught up in the battle.
