Life Siphon

Dragons rule above ground and people have gone to live deep below the earth. During a trek through the tunnels you find a chest with an orange glowing eye on the outside. Scratched into the side: DO NOT OPEN. And of course you open it anyway. At that very moment you are cursed. The only way out? Take down your best friend with your new powers. In Life Siphon you summon creatures and cast spells, but everything costs you something: your own life energy. The harder you attack, the more vulnerable you become. Every player has the task of defeating the player to their left. As soon as someone reaches zero, the game is over. That makes it exciting, because you have to attack and defend yourself against the player on your right at the same time. Sometimes you even catch yourself helping your own attacker along, just so you can land the final blow yourself. For 2 to 4 players, ages 13 and up, and done in about 40 minutes.
