Le Havre

In Le Havre you build a thriving harbour town. Each turn has two parts. First you place new goods on the offer spaces, then you choose an action. You take all the goods of one type, or you use a building. With buildings you turn raw goods into something valuable, sell them, or use them to place ships and buildings of your own. Buildings are worth their weight in gold. They earn you money, because anyone who uses another player's building pays a fee. Ships mainly provide food, so you can feed your workers. After every seven turns the round ends. Your cattle and grain may multiply thanks to the harvest, but you also have to feed your people. After a set number of rounds everyone takes one final move and then the curtain falls. You add the value of your buildings and ships to your money. Whoever has built up the biggest fortune wins.
