Dark clouds still hang over the city of LA 1, the heavy legacy of the bombs that once fell here. In this gloomy setting you and a fellow player step into the shoes of a detective. You work for Mace & Doyle Investigations and try to solve one case after another. Hunting for clues, grilling suspects and staking out for hours: it all comes with the job in a world where class and status decide everything. LA 1 is a story-driven cooperative game for two players. You can play each case on its own, or string them together into a full campaign. Because the cards can send your investigation in a different direction every time, no case ever plays out exactly the same. Play a story again and you may well end up on another trail, with a new ending. But watch out: time is right behind you. The Darkness slowly creeps forward and will eventually swallow everything. Can you crack the case before it is too late? This is a game for sleuths who want to puzzle together and lose themselves completely in a story.
