Jenga

This edition is in German, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Can you keep your hand steady when the tower starts to wobble? In Jenga you build a tower of wooden blocks together and take turns pulling one out. Slide it out carefully, place it on top of the stack and then hope everything stays standing. Whoever makes the tower fall loses. The lovely thing about Jenga is the tension that slowly builds. At first it is easy, but the higher the tower gets, the more nerve and feel you need. Everyone watches closely, you hear the soft creak of the wood and then that breathless silence just before you touch a block. This is a game that fits in anywhere. At the kitchen table on a rainy afternoon, on the couch with friends or just in between other things. Young or old, everyone can join in right away and it only takes about twenty minutes.
