Step into the cockpit and take the controls. Israeli Air Force Leader is a game you play entirely on your own, but it feels like a real mission full of tension. You fight in the air and on the ground, and each assignment takes about half an hour to set up, plan and play out. Enough time to really get into your role. Before every campaign you put together your own team of pilots. Each pilot has their own talents, and it is up to you to pick the right people and weapons for the job. That is the difference between winning and losing. As you fly mission after mission, your pilots gain experience and get better and better. But watch out: fatigue plays a part too. An exhausted pilot performs worse and sometimes has to stay grounded for a few missions. The game takes you through all the wars Israel was involved in, from 1948 up to 2020, plus a few imaginary scenarios. The aircraft and weapons match each period down to the detail, so you really get the feeling that you are reliving history. A game to lose yourself in, at your own pace.
