Inferno

Welcome to the dark world of Inferno, where you guide souls through the nine circles of hell. The board is made up of two parts. One part shows all the circles and the register of souls. The other shows Florence in the early fourteenth century, the city where Dante lived, full of power plays and intrigue around the palaces. Each turn is played in two phases. In the Inferno phase you send a soul deeper into hell. If you manage to bring the soul to the right circle, you earn points for your bad name. In the Florence phase you choose what to do. You can take in a street child, build your family tower higher or invite a famous guest into your home. Or you unmask a sinner, who is then executed and whose soul disappears into hell. With every death Dante takes another step on his descent. As soon as he reaches the gate to purgatory, the game ends. Whoever has collected the most points for a bad name wins and is seen as the most unscrupulous of all. A game for 2 to 5 players that takes you on a dark adventure in about two hours.
