Holiday Hijinks #5: The Birthday Burglary

This is going to be your best birthday ever! The food is ready, the streamers are up, games have been planned and even a few special acts are dropping by. Everyone is in for a great day, you most of all. But then you notice it: there is nobody here. You take another look at the invitation. Everything checks out, the guests should have arrived long ago. Did they forget about you? Solve the mystery and finally get that party started! The Birthday Burglary is the fifth part in the Holiday Hijinks series and packs a complete escape room into just 18 cards. Together you puzzle over a series of riddles to uncover the secret. You will need a sharp eye, a feel for language and plenty of creativity. Please note: you need a good command of English to take part. Cracked a riddle? Then you enter the answer on the matching website, which works on any phone or computer. If it is correct, you hear right away which card to pick up next. If you get stuck, the hint system gives you just enough to move on without giving away the solution. You can even click on cards and use objects, just like in an old-fashioned point-and-click adventure. The game stays intact, so afterwards you simply pass it on to the next group. Expect about an hour of puzzling, with a pleasant, easy-going level of difficulty.
