Harald

In Harald you lead a village in a newly united kingdom. You want to give your village more standing than any other. You do that by winning over the king's council. Whoever gains the council's favour takes the lead. It's a game full of small choices that make all the difference. Each turn you do three things: you play a card into the king's council, you place a card in your own village and you draw new cards. At the end you score points based on the cards in your village, linked to what is lying in the council. Every character scores in its own way, so no two games feel the same. Think it over, now and then beat your opponent to the punch, and then grab the last points with a smile. Harald plays nice and quickly and is done in about half an hour. Perfect for an evening with two to four players who like a bit of strategy without it taking hours. The cards look beautiful and invite you to play just one more time.
