Happy Salmon

Picture this: eight people all shouting at once, high-fiving each other and waving their arms about. That is Happy Salmon in a nutshell. A few minutes of glorious chaos in which nobody sits still and everyone ends up laughing. You explain the rules in ten seconds and then you are off. Every player has a stack of cards. Each card shows a simple action that you do together with someone else. Think of a high-five, a handshake or a silly dance move. You call out your action and search the chaos for someone with the same card. Found each other? Then you do the action and throw the cards away. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins. This edition from Exploding Kittens has funny drawings by Matthew Inman, known from the webcomic The Oatmeal. The game lasts only two minutes, so before you know it everyone is calling for another round. Perfect for letting loose, whether at a birthday party or just in between other things.
