Great Western Trail Argentina takes you to the wide open plains of the Pampa at the end of the nineteenth century. You own an estancia, an Argentinian ranch, and you drive your herd along the beautiful trails of this country. Along the way you make choices: which route do you take, when do you load your cattle onto the train, and which ship do you pick in Buenos Aires before it sets sail for the great harbours of Europe? At the table you feel the tension of getting the timing right. Will you reach the loading ramp in time? Do you keep your cows or send them on? On your journey you help farmers, collect grain as a new resource and get your engine going so you reach Buenos Aires faster. The new cow cards and exhaustion cards give you plenty of choices and make every turn different. You play with two to four people, and there is also a solo mode where you take on Pedro. Can you beat his score? Expect a solid evening of play, because a game takes about two and a half hours. Just enough time to lose yourself together in the adventure on the Pampa.
