Go Cuckoo!

In Go Cuckoo! you build a wobbly nest of sticks together. On your turn you take a standing stick and place it on the nest. Are both ends the same colour? Then you may put an egg on top. If not, you take a new stick that matches the hidden colour of the previous one. Exciting, because the nest gets higher and shakier all the time. The trick is to place your sticks calmly, so nothing falls over. Does a stick drop to the floor or an egg roll out of the nest? Then there is a small penalty. Whoever gets rid of all their eggs first may put the cuckoo on top of the nest and wins the game. Go Cuckoo! is perfect for small hands and grown-up players at the same table. With players from 4 years old and games of about fifteen minutes, this is a lovely game for in between. You hold your breath with every stick and cheer when the nest stays up.
