Gluons

In Gluons you step into the world of nuclear physics. You are a researcher and you play with the smallest particles that exist: quarks and gluons. Together with your fellow players you try to make the right connections between quarks. Every time you manage a valid interaction, you earn a point. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. The game is all about a little daring and a little bluffing. On your turn you place cards face down next to the quarks. Nobody knows exactly what the others are planning. When nobody wants to play another card, the exciting moment arrives: one by one you turn a card over and see whether the connection is correct. Is it correct? Then you swap the quarks and keep the card as a point. In about fifteen minutes you get a tough game full of surprises. Gluons is a tribute to physicist Teresa Rodrigo Anoro (1956-2020), one of the brightest researchers in her field and the first Spanish woman to work at the famous CERN. A lovely game for the table with two to four players aged ten and up.
