Somewhere among the stars your journey begins. In Galactic Renaissance you search for distant planets, meet forgotten civilisations and try to get them on your side. Slowly you build up your own team, adding new specialists to your deck of cards. Each of them can make just that bit of difference at the right moment. With that team you set out to explore the universe. You make contact with civilisations that have not been seen for a long time, you open embassies and you keep expanding your influence. But you are not alone. Your fellow players send their own envoys to the same planets and want to win them over just as much. That creates unrest, tension and choices that really matter. Whoever manoeuvres most cleverly collects victory points the fastest. Galactic Renaissance is the second part in the political trilogy by designer Christian Martinez and publisher Matagot, after Inis. It is a game for two to four players aged fourteen and up and takes about ninety minutes. Perfect for an evening when you want to go really deep together.
