Picture this: one player is an alien who can only speak by repeating your words. In French Toast the Toastmaster knows a secret word, and you and your friends have to guess it. With every guess, the Toastmaster compares your word to the secret word and to 'French Toast'. Which of the two is closer? That is the word he repeats. It is up to you to work out that strange logic before the sand timer runs out. It sounds silly, and it is. That is exactly why it works so well. You throw words on the table, look at each other in surprise and try to understand together what the Toastmaster actually means. The rules are explained in no time, so you can start right away. Within a minute everyone is laughing and shouting over each other. French Toast was designed by Peter Hayward, also known for Things in Rings. With room for two to ten players and games of ten minutes, this is a lovely game for an evening at home, a party or a fun moment with the family. Every round plays out differently, because no two Toastmasters think alike.
