Fiction Banned Books

There is a secret word hidden away, picked from a famous book. Together you have to guess it before time runs out. Sounds simple? There is one catch. In every round, exactly one of the clues is a lie. Who dares to trust the hints, and who smells a trick? One player takes on the role of the Lie-brarian. That person gives feedback on your guessed words, a bit like in Wordle, but always with one false tip mixed in. The rest of the group has to discuss, puzzle and play their fact/fiction tokens at the right moment to challenge a suspicious hint. Are your hunches right, or have you been led astray? With wipe-clean boards and markers you can play Fiction Banned Books again and again without it getting stale. The words come from eight classic novels, which gives every round its own mood. Great for a cosy evening with the family, at a party or just with friends around the table. For 2 to 8 players aged 10 and up, and in about half an hour you are ready for the next round.
