You know that moment when you are puzzling over a word together as a group, and someone at the table deliberately leads you astray? That is exactly what Fiction is all about. One player is the Lie-brarian and picks a secret word from a well-known book. Each round this player gives clues, but watch out: there is always one lie among them. The rest of the group has to separate the truth from the lie together and guess the word before the time or the turns run out. The game is inspired by Wordle, but with a surprising twist and a big dose of book love. The words come from classics such as Little Women, Moby Dick and A Study in Scarlet, so there is a real literary atmosphere around it. You discuss, you doubt, you fit the pieces of the puzzle together. And again and again that question: which clue is actually right and which one is the lie? With a playing time of about twenty minutes and a compact box, Fiction is ideal for a game night, but you can just as easily take it along on a trip or to a book club. Suitable for two to eight players aged ten and up, so you can play it with almost everyone at the table.
