This version of the well-known board game "De Kwakzalvers van Kakelenburg" is suitable for 2 players only, but it offers more interaction and direct competition than the base game.
So if you like pushing your luck, getting in your opponent's way and trying out different tactics, this game is just right for you.
The players try to lure patients from the park to their market stall. Both have a flask, which has room for several tokens, and a bag of tokens.
On your turn you draw tokens until you stop voluntarily or your flask explodes. Depending on the result you may move the patient or even your market stall.
If the patient reaches your market stall, you may treat them and the next patient sets off. After finishing their potion, the players may buy new tokens.
Every token has certain properties, which are activated either right away or later in a round.
If a player has treated their sixth patient, they win immediately.
The game also ends after round 7. Then the player who has treated the most patients wins.
