You take on the role of one of the four Horsemen and travel through the Forbidden Land, once the home of the Cherubim. Your orders come from the Charred Council, and you had better take those seriously. Together you fight your way through dark corridors full of danger, with new choices and surprises around every corner. The great thing is that every Horseman plays completely differently. Whether you pick War, Death, Fury or Strife, each character feels and works in its own way. Every Horseman has a big stack of cards you use to put together your own playing style, so even if you pick the same character again, the game plays out differently. Feel like playing on your own? That works without any fuss over extra rules. And with five players, one person takes on the role of the enemies, which makes it that bit more exciting. The campaign book is packed with more than nineteen levels, spread across all kinds of scenarios. You can play a short adventure in under an hour, or turn it into a longer journey on a game night. If you really want to go all out, you can finish the whole campaign in a single weekend. With the many enemies and the separate map tiles, you also build a new playing area every time, so every session feels fresh.
