Concept, communicate without talking!

This is the Dutch-language edition. Get others to guess hundreds of objects, characters and titles by combining the universal icons!

Concept is a game for the whole family or for a fun evening with friends. Working together is the key. A team of two draws a Concept card, so they know the concept (a word or phrase) that has to be guessed. By placing pawns on the board, they give hints about that concept. The team says whether each guess is right or wrong, and by placing more pawns on the board they can help the others guess the concept. You do not play against each other, but as it were against the game itself!

Goal of the game

Guess words by making the right associations and interpreting the icons correctly.

The game

A team of 2 players picks a word or phrase that the other players have to guess. This team places the various pawns on the available icons on the board. Each icon has a certain association with the concept to be guessed. The green question mark stands for the concept, the exclamation marks stand for the sub-concepts, and the square pawns give hints about the sub-concepts marked in the same colour.

Good to know

• For every theme/concept you can choose from 3 difficulty levels. Blue is easy, red is medium and grey is hard.
• You can also play Concept with 3 players, but from 4 players on it gets that little bit more fun
• The board game Concept was nominated for Toy of the Year in Belgium 2015
• Concept takes 40 minutes on average
