In Codenames XXL, two teams take on the role of secret agents. The team leaders know exactly which words belong to their side, but their teammates are in the dark. You give a clue with one word and a number, and then it is up to your team to point at the right cards. It is exciting, funny and surprisingly easy to learn. This updated version has even bigger letters on the cards, so everyone at the table can read along. That is also handy for large groups and for people whose eyesight is not so sharp. The improved word list makes for better clues, and thanks to the smart insert in the box everything stays neatly in place. You guess in turns, but watch out: pick a word belonging to the other team and your turn is over. And the assassin? You want to avoid that one at all costs.
