Cloudy Kingdom

Something is stirring high up in the clouds. Four noble families all want power. Each family has four castles and tries to link them together by growing beanstalks between the towers. If you manage to connect two castles on opposite sides, you combine their powers and claim the throne. Who will sit on the throne of the Cloudy Kingdom? On your turn you place one route card. Or you discard it and play a magic card instead. Then you draw a new card and it is your neighbour's turn. Sounds simple, right? But watch out: cards may be placed across each other at a ninety degree angle. That means the playing area keeps changing and you have to think carefully about your next move. Thanks to those stackable cards and the bit of wizardry from the magic cards, Cloudy Kingdom is full of choices. There are countless ways to work towards victory, and every game plays out differently. Perfect for half an hour of battling for the throne together.
