Climate-Poker

Organising climate summits can be so simple! In Climate-Poker you step into the shoes of a climate diplomat. You bring together countries that share the same ideas and try to turn that into the largest possible conference. The more countries at the table, the better it is for you. In turn you play a challenge. Everyone puts down a card in a category you choose, and the lowest value takes all the cards. After that you may hold a conference with countries that fit together. Watch out: two countries are always unhappy and end up back on your discard pile. The rest score you points. But whoever runs out of countries in hand first also has a shot at the win. So sometimes it is smarter to pass countries on to a colleague than to keep them yourself. This balance between collecting and letting go makes every turn exciting. Ideal for an evening with two to four players who enjoy a bit of push and pull. Expect about thirty minutes full of negotiating, bluffing and sharp choices.
