Bugsies

Little wooden bugs are waiting in the flower field: butterflies, bees and ladybirds. Each player holds their own bug by a small string. Then someone picks up the spider cup, rolls the die and the hunt begins! Does your bug appear on the die? Then quickly pull your string away before the spider strikes. Too slow? Then your bug is caught and you get to be the spider in the next round. Bugsies is made for the very youngest players and is all about looking fast and reacting fast. The game grows with you. You start with one die and hunt for colours. Want more excitement? Add shapes. And for the real daredevils there are two dice, where you have to combine colour and shape. That way it stays a little different and a little more challenging every time. The nice thing about Bugsies is that there does not have to be a real ending. You play for as long as everyone feels like it and until every child has been the spider once. Take a short break, laugh together about who was too late, and start all over again. A game that keeps small hands and grown-ups at the table.
