Brightview Haunting

On a dark evening, superstitious teenager Bert Hudson wanders too far into the dark past of Brightview. Deep in the woods he comes across strange signs and, without knowing it, he breaks an old seal on an ancient tree. In doing so he awakens a demon: the Whisperer. From that moment on, nothing is safe. Brightview Haunting is a cooperative horror game in which one player takes on the rest. You either play as an Exorcist, searching for Bert together to banish the Whisperer, or you are the Whisperer yourself, hunting the others down, spreading ruin and trying to possess them all. Every role feels different. The Exorcists each have their own abilities, and the Whisperer has strong powers that grow ever more mighty during the game. You have to think carefully about when to use special objects, how to deal with contamination and where you move across the map. If an Exorcist becomes possessed, that player turns against the group and plays with the Whisperer from then on. But nothing is lost: there are ways to save a possessed friend and bring them back to their original team. Will you become a body for the demon, or will you chase the Whisperer back into the tree for good?
