Somewhere in the African savannah, herds of animals move across the plains. In Botswana you go looking for the elephants, rhinos and other animals that score you the most points. Sounds easy? That is exactly what makes this game so much fun. You can explain the rules in a minute, but the choices keep everyone sharp. On your turn you play a card showing an animal hide and take one of the animal figures on the table. The last card played of a colour decides how much the animals of that kind are worth. Do you wait a little longer, or do you take your chance now? As soon as all six cards of one colour are gone, the game ends and you count the points. With the lovely wooden animal meeples and the nice cards, Botswana feels familiar right away. You are done within half an hour, so you will happily play another round. Perfect for a relaxed moment with the family or with friends around the table.
