Boop

Soft kittens, a cosy bed and a game that looks adorable. But looks can be deceiving. In Boop you place kittens on a blanket, and every time you put one down it goes 'boop'. All the other cats on the bed then slide one space aside. That way you push your opponent's kittens away and try to get three of your own in a row. If you manage that, your kittens grow up into adult cats. And if you are the first to line up three cats neatly in a row, you win. It sounds simple, but with two players constantly pushing kittens back and forth, the bed turns into cheerful chaos. It really feels like you are trying to herd cats. The game comes with a quilted cloth playing field that you lay over the box, so a little bed is formed. On it stand 32 wooden kittens and cats, eight pieces per player. A short game takes about 20 to 30 minutes and is perfect for a pleasant moment together as a pair.
