Bonsai

This is the Dutch-language edition. Picture this: a tiny little tree on your table, shaped by your own hands. Every twig, every leaf, every blossom exactly where you want it. In Bonsai you step into the shoes of a bonsai master and grow your own living work of art, step by step. The goal? Earn a spot in the imperial gardens to show off your masterpiece. Each turn you choose: meditate or cultivate. When you meditate, you take a card from the board, often with a handy tile along with it. When you cultivate, you add tiles to your tree, as many as your symbols allow. Bit by bit your bonsai grows into something lovely. Does your tree meet a goal tile on the table? Then you may claim it, or you can wait a little longer to reach a tougher goal. That choice keeps things exciting. When the last card turns up, everyone counts their points. The player with the most beautiful, best filled tree wins. Prefer to play on your own? Then extra scenarios and even the emperor's challenge are waiting for you. Bonsai is calm, beautiful and just a little different every time you play.
