Blind Business

There is a party in the air! And there hangs Ricky, the ten-foot-tall piñata shaped like a donkey. He is the pride of the little town. The mayor has announced a contest: who will break Ricky open and win all the candy, the big trophy and everlasting fame? The whole town can join in. On your own you will never get Ricky open, of course. You need the best buddies from the four districts of the town, each with their own talents. The funny thing is: you cannot see your own cards. At the start you look at four cards, shuffle them and lay them face up on the table, but without knowing which card is where. Everyone can see your hand, except you. On your turn you ask an opponent for a card. They may refuse or accept, and so small deals come about in which you never know exactly who you are bringing in. Trade the right people away from your rivals and put together the strongest team. Blind Business is played with cards in four colours, standing for the playground, the boulevard, the central station and the town centre. At the end you count the majorities and the combinations you have collected. Anyone who gets five cards of the same colour in a row even wins right away. A game full of bluffing, trading and tension, in which you are not sure how you are doing until the very last moment. Perfect for half an hour of laughing and squabbling together at the table.
