Bitoku

In Bitoku you slip into an ancient forest that has been guarded for centuries by the great spirit. His time is coming to an end, and now it is up to the forest spirits to decide who may follow in his footsteps. You play such a spirit and try to climb higher and higher, until you are worthy of becoming the great spirit of the forest yourself. Along the way you get help from yōkai, kodama and pilgrims who join you. This is a meaty Eurogame for players who love depth. You manage your hand of cards and call on the yōkai at just the right moment to make the most of their powers. You send your three guardians, in the shape of dice, to the great regions of the forest, build buildings, collect soul crystals and help wandering souls find release. And in your own domain you set pilgrims on their way along paths of reflection, where they share their wisdom with you. The world of Bitoku breathes eastern atmosphere, with beautiful artwork that draws you in right away. There are countless roads to victory, so no two games feel the same.
