Big Dig

Grab your shovel and dig your way down. In Big Dig you are an adventurous archaeologist looking for treasures and special finds deep in the ground. Every day calls for a new plan, because you and the other diggers are all trying to work as cleverly as possible. Who digs best? Each turn you choose a card from the middle. That card shows which shape you have to dig, by crossing off squares on your own board. You always have to connect to the top edge or to a spot where you dug before. Sometimes a rock is in the way and you have to blow it up first to get any further. Once all the cards in the middle are used up, you flip them over and new shapes appear to dig. At the start of every game there are three goals on the table. The first player to reach all three wins. Because the goals change, the player boards have two sides and the cards can lie in a different order, every game plays a little differently. That keeps Big Dig exciting every time, even after the tenth play.
