You send explorers to distant regions, found cities and grow your civilisation in culture, trade and technology. Every choice you make sends your people in a different direction. The game does not always last the same length of time. Once enough goals have been achieved, the end comes into sight. That makes every game feel different and keeps you watching each other closely. You earn points by exploring new lands, building cities, making inventions and building up your economy. So there are several routes to victory, and you decide which one suits you. Beyond the Horizon is for one to four players and is suitable from ten years old. A game takes about an hour.
