Battle Sheep

Out on the pasture it is every sheep for itself. In Battle Sheep you first build the board together from separate pieces, and then the fight for the best grazing spots begins. Each player starts with a tall stack of sheep and tries to claim as much ground as possible, step by step. It works wonderfully simply: you split your stack and slide part of it as far as you can in a straight line. But you always have to leave at least one sheep behind. This slowly fills up the board, and it gets more and more exciting to see where you can still go. Spread your sheep well and you quietly box the others in. Within about fifteen minutes you know who wins: the player who occupies the most spaces. Easy to explain, fun to play again and again, and perfect for a quick game with the whole family. From seven years old everyone can join in.
