Autobahn

In Autobahn you step into the world of the German motorway network. From the years after the Second World War up to today, you help build a network that runs all across Germany. As a director within the BundesAutobahn Organisation, you decide where the roads go and how you expand your influence. After reunification in 1990 the east of the country opens up and suddenly new chances are waiting for you. You do not just lay roads, you also make sure goods are transported to neighbouring countries and you build petrol stations to profit from all that extra traffic. Every contribution you make earns you a seat on the board of a motorway. That way your budget grows at the start of each period and you gain access to new departments that suit your own route to victory. The cards in your hand determine what you can do on one of the seven great Autobahns. It is all about timing and planning ahead: get everything out of your cards before you have to take them back. At the end, the seats of your board members count towards victory. A game for two to four players that takes you on the road for about thirty minutes.
