Altar Realms of the Gods

Long ago, the gods ruled the world. People served them faithfully, and the gods grew stronger through the belief of their followers. But their pride and endless quarrels almost brought about their downfall. The last survivors went into hiding and waited for the right moment to return, more powerful than ever. That moment has now come. The gods have awakened and once again demand belief and obedience. Great battles are breaking out everywhere and humanity is falling into chaos. In Altar Realms of the Gods you take on the role of a god fighting to rule alone. Will you bring light, love, war, fear or eternal darkness? The fate of the world lies in your hands. In this card game for 2 to 5 players you defend your own Realm against the other gods. You build Shrines and search for the hidden Altars in your area. Whoever manages to activate them all makes their god the mightiest of all and wins. Each turn you first draw a card and then choose one main action: use an ability, perform a ritual or worship a god. Short and full of tension, because in 30 minutes the tide can easily turn.
