A Fake Artist Goes To New York

Everyone helps draw the same picture, but one of you has no idea what it is supposed to be. That is the fake artist. In A Fake Artist Goes To New York everyone gets to see a word, except the one person with a cross on their card. Now it is up to that player to act as if they know exactly what the picture is about. In turn, everyone adds a single line to the paper. Over two rounds you build a drawing together. The real artists want to give away enough to recognise each other, but not so much that the impostor works out the word right away. And the fake artist? They try to draw along without standing out. Afterwards you all point at the person you think did not know. This is the kind of game where the fun is mostly in the looks and the doubts. Who is drawing so vaguely? And do you dare add a line yourself when you really have no clue? With five to ten players and games of about twenty minutes, it is perfect for playing another round straight away.
