Refund and return policy
Returning
You have 14 days to return an item. After this period, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for return, the item must:
- Be unused and undamaged
- In the original packaging are
- Be accompanied by the original order confirmation
Gift certificates cannot be returned.
Refunds
Once we have received and verified your return, you will receive an email confirmation. You will then hear immediately whether your return has been approved or rejected.
If your return is approved, the amount will be refunded via the original payment method.
Not received a refund yet?
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company or bank (processing may take several days)

Sale items & exchanges
- Items on sale cannot be returned
- Artikelen worden alleen vervangen als ze defect of beschadigd zijn bij aankomst. Mail ons op hoi@kapiteinspel.nl om een artikel te ruilen
Returning a gift
- Was your item purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you? Then you will receive a gift certificate for the return amount
- If the gift giver first received the item themselves, the refund goes to them

- Shipping costs are at your own expense and will not be refunded
- For more expensive items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or insuring your shipment
