Walkie Talkie

In Walkie Talkie you work together against the clock. Everyone plays at the same time, so there is no moment to sit back. A letter and a colour are on the table, and you try to get rid of your cards as fast as possible by shouting out a word that matches that letter and colour. Sounds simple, but it goes lightning fast and it is guaranteed to bring laughter. Each player gets six cards and the clock is running: thirty seconds per person. Shout a valid word that starts with the right letter and fits the colour, and the card can go. Anything goes, except the same word or a colour name. The rest of the table decides whether your code counts. Drawing a blank? Then use 'Change' to flip your cards over, or 'Short' to pass them to your neighbour. A game lasts between one and four minutes, so you can easily play a few in a row. At the end you add up the stars on the cards you played and see how well you did together. There is no winning or losing here, you simply collect points and try to do even better next round.
